Jurançon (the ç is pronounced like the letter s) is a village in foothills of the Pyrenees that historically just made sweet whites, but has more recently pivoted to dry. They’re blessed with a treasure trove of lovely local grapes that you don’t find anywhere else. This is made of 60% Gros Manseng and 40% Camaralet that together make zesty wines of great vibrancy.

Wine CategoryMedium-bodied, fruity, expressive whites
Tasting NotesPassion fruit and kiwi abound on the nose and the palate, lots of bright, vivid flavours; quite marked acidity and noticeable alcohol too. Good length. An unusual and original style of white with real concentration of flavour.
