Gewurztraminer Réserve

  • Regular price £19.00

Surely the most distinctive grape on the planet, Gewurztraminer is a very aromatic variety that smells like lychees and rose petals. The name sounds German, but today most is grown over the border in Alsace, France. It can be anywhere from very dry to very sweet, and typically has an opulent, almost oily texture. It can be very divisive… will you love it or will you hate it?!

Tasting NotesSo aromatic, this brims with rose, Turkish delight, persimmon and lychee. Very full-bodied, it coats the mouth and has a rich, oily texture. It's off-dry but well-balanced and would go well with spicy food with a touch of chilli heat.
