Why Gavi isn’t as famous as Pinot Grigio is anyone’s guess. It’s made from the Cortese grape in Piemonte, northern Italy; if it’s from the traditional heart of the region – like this one is – then it’s called Gavi di Gavi. It makes for a fresh, cleansing style of light white with a silvery sheen that’s refreshing and elegant

Wine CategoryLight-bodied, fresh whites

Tasting NotesA wine whose aromas speak primarily of floral freshness before any specific fruit - but gently perfumed green melon and apricot aromas emerge with time in the glass. Light-bodied, with good acidity and a silky feel on the tongue. A touch of brioche and almond on the finish. Very well balanced and highly drinkable, with fairly low alcohol.
